and quite an event to mark this post!

AHS PROM NIGHT 09 WAS GREAT!

haha yea honestly i enjoyed it.

the emcee was good too

and the entire event was quite well planned =)

haha yea

took quite alot of photos with people

but have to go find from facebook

cos i din bring a camera =(

but its ok

still took many photos with other ppl camera

anw in about 4 hours time ill be leaving for the mountains in China

AND WILL BE UNCONTACTABLE

yup

SO ANY PROM PICS OF ME WILL BE SEEN 8 days later

abit lag bah

hahah but hopefully ill enjoy myself

heard its quite nice from yong chen

looking forward to it now

alright im back!

wow im surprised how much less dedicated to blogging before O levels and after O levels

wonder if ill continue updating when im in JC

but anw

TONIGHT WILL BE PROM!

ok bah i must say that our band has practised quite abit le bah

should be rdy

and we are called J4X

cos 4 of us Jesse, Jacob and my bro and I names all start with J

but the only bad thing is that i have to bring alot of eqiupment -.-

i was hoping they would be provided but its seems it is not.

so have to bring the heavy amplifier there.

the worse thing is that im bringing for another band. but the another band guitarist doesnt want to bring his amp too.

and we need another amp to plug into keyboard...

...

so yar...

hopefully can plug into PA system bah

if not no nid play le =(

yup.

shall update abit of my life recently.

i must say my whole clock has been screwed up

seriosuly

SLEEP at 2 every night

WAKE UP at 12 noon... o.o

fail.

so you will see a skinnier me cos I HAVENT HAD BREAKFAST FOR A LONG TIME.

but no school oso = slightly lesser exercise = gain weight

so it all works out to be quite balanced =D hahah

yup

and today is Tuesday.

On wednesday ngiht Ill be flying off to China le.

SO YEAP maybe this is my last post for now.

Teal Overkill

alright...im back blogging.

the past few days have been quite abit of a roller coaster ride....

yeap...

I made myself really free during the past two weeks becos i wanted to focus abit more on my guitar and job, and give myself a break.

cos arh... fully booked can very tiring de...

whole day out... then at night work...

quite cham

Things I have been doing:

1. Playing guitar

yeap cos will be performing for prom...

yea... and im playing electric guitar...

so nidda practise quite abit...

so far havent comfirm a rehearsal date to practise in jamming studio... so yar... hopefully can get things settled quickly.

2. Cleaning my room

i can tell you that I HAVENT FINISHED MY CLEANING MY ROOM. WHY?

BECOS, 1 MORNING, I WOKE UP, ATTEMPTED TO CLEAN MY BOOKS COS THEY WERE COLLECTING DUST. since i was quite sensitive to dust, i started

sneezing,

and sneezing,

and SNEEZING.

TADA. I CAUGHT A FLU. FROM CLEANING MY ROOM. DAMN RETARDED and i couldnt work for the next two days or go out.

3. Selling starhub cable tv plans

yea... i can honestly say that this job has helped me see things from different perspectives.

As much as i have wasted saliva on oblivious customers, i have also felt the kindness of others.

This job has allowed me to see the real world, that there are all kinds of people in the world out there.

What i like about this job is when customers KINDLY REFUSE when they are not interested. At least when i tell them its ok... i can still smile or laugh.

that gives me some job satisfaction already, even if they are not interested.

What i don't like about the job is that really piss you off.

I understand.

You had a bad day.

U got a feeling that Tonites NOT going to be a good night.

You feel stressed. then this guy comes up to you selling cable tv plans

btw normally i start my by saying im from starhub and asking if i can ask a few questions to them...

even though its a yes or no question...

i get ALL SORTS OF REPLY IN MANY DIFFERENT FORMS

let me give u some examples.

1. (doesnt open the door) *asks from behind the door* "who is this?"

me: im from starhub, i would like to ask u some questions...

*no reply(tio dao and ignored)(couldnt even bother to open the door, no basic courtesy)

2. (stares at you blankly) *gives you hand signal to shoo away*

I was being kind to 1 customer cos she was HAPPILY saying goodbye to her nephews and nieces

so i did the other door 1st. when i came back, her "HAPPY" look totally changed to a fierce and stern look and she just closed the door -.- Imagine if her nephew was to grow up and take the same job as me and knock on her door. How to you think he would have felt about his aunt?

3. (open abit to peek)

me: good evening maam im from starhub, i would *closes door*

me: ....-.-(owned)

4. this happened to my bro while i was sick and he worked alone.

the person shouted to him.

"DON'T YOU DARE WASTE YOUR TIME OPENING YOUR MOUTH! TURN AROUND AND WALK DOWN THE STAIRS!"

these kind of people relly damn no courtesy. they never put themselves in other's shoes.

but then i have seen the good side of people too.

One customer i talked too invited me into her house for drinks.

and even though i refused, she later passed me two packet drinks( for me and my bro)

She took up my promotion too. How nice. 1 sale for me.

Then there was another yesterday, while i was knocking on 1 door, the other door(an old indian woman) opened up and told her chinese neighbour(the one i was knocking) that she kept her newpapers

for them while they were on holiday. She told them that there were cleaners washing the floor so she kept the papers so they would not get wet. then the chinese woman latr went to ask how the aunty was doing etc.

THIS IS RACIAL HARMONY IN ACTION.

yeap. sorry it has been a long story. ive got so many tales to tell. some are really hilarious

hahaha thats why i plan to take this job until january 20 i believe. when i receive my 2nd payslip. until then, there has been bad days with 0 sales from 2 blocks, but there also have been good days with 4 sales!

so yeap. the money doesnt really matter much to me anymore. Im just looking to make 1 sale per day and that makes me happy enough. 1 sale = 25 dollars

25 dollars in 3 hours = 8/hr which is above average pay already.

alright man...

im finally

EMPLOYED

you noe this word means alot to me... haha

finally got a job man...

and ~~today~~ tonight was the 1st day of work...

yea i tink i got myself a pretty good catch here

SELLING STARHUB CABLE PLANS

not too hard to sell...

and 25 dollars commission per sale

the best part is...

WORKING HOURS FLEXIBLE

want to work, just work, dun want, dun work.

7-10pm

doesnt seem like a job right

but its okay bah

the 1st day was quite gd for me

me and my bro got 2 sales....

means 50 dollars in 3 hours... which = $8/hr for both of us

so hoping to get more sales tml...

learnt some techniques le

some work

some dun...

so yeap

TRIAL AND ERROR =)

on another note

I HAVE FINALLY BOUGHT MY ELECTRIC GUITAR =DDDD

like woots man

things i bought

Corts Stratocaster(this is an average guitar, but im looking to buy better ones in the future when i have money)

Marshall MG15 Amplifier( pretty good buy because its more powerful than average home de... and allows MP3 plug in so i can play along with the song as the background track)

Boss ME50 Multi-effects pedal(this is SUI MAN... so many functions and effects i dunnid another pedal le... will last me for a long time...)

and all the other stuffs bah...

yeap guitar strings, cloth etc.

man... tml is my 1st electric guitar lesson

yo sup man! look whose back~

my first week of the Post-O-levels has just been great

yeap and ive finally got the time to post

sorry for the late update

i doubt few would be reading my blog now anw

but its becos i was out like the whole day for the past few days

i tink this week is the week in my sec sch life whr i spent the least amount of time online, excluding overseas holidays

so yeap

11pm-2.30am has been my dota time

and RELLY NOT ENOUGH SLP

but have been catching up

cos i have quite a few things on my mind that i have to do

TO DO LIST:

1. CLEAN UP MY ROOM

As you can see, its not on my no.1 list for no apparent reason.

AFTER O LEVELS, I AM LITERALLY LOST IN THE MOUNTAINS.

these mountains are made out of exam papers, exam papers, exam papers,

worksheets, worksheets, worksheets, textbooks, files, TENYEAR SERIES.

im quite sure i have no space to put them although i tink im gonna nid some of them in jc.

SOME.

2. PICK UP ELECTRIC GUITAR

haha this has been on my MUST DO list for quite awhile already. have been w8ting for o levels to end ASAP. yeap now the moment has finally come, im gonna get an electric guitar and all the stuffs lol.

Just today i registered for electric guitar lessons at simei yeap. hopefully tt place is gd.

so i nidda get my guitar on sunday be4 the lessons start.

3. FIND A JOB

LOL i noe many of u may think im quite useless... becos IM STILL JOBLESS

I HAVE NO JOB. I DIDNT APPLY FOR ANY. ok i thought of applying for some, but then those kind is damn sian kind of jobs. waste time 1. I NEED EXPERIENTIAL JOBS

im not into giving out flyers -.-

suddenly it seems i have just over a month to the end of hols (WTH?)

and i still no job

HU GOT JOBS GOT EXTRA SPACE HELP ME FIND MAN. i dun 1 idle so much time at home...

4. BUY STUFFS

lol as of now im currently in need of qutie a few things

water bottle, bag, slippers, shoes, cos all these stuff broke when i was preparing for my o levels

Z and i also need to get prom stuffs...

hm... wonder what i should wear to prom...

yeap

cant tink of much for now cos its quite late...

but i should settle the more important things 1st...

will be going to china during the dec hols too.

I CANT BELIEVE ITS MY THIRD TIME GOING TO CHINA -.-

sec 2 - shanghai immersion trip

sec 3 - beijing with family and cousins

sec 4 - jiu zai gou with family and cousins

I WANT TO GET OUT OF ASIA MAN

ok that should be it for now. as of now my schedule isnt too full.

dunno how full it will be oso

finally and update....

TODAY IS GRADUATION DAY!

yeap so called LAST DAY OF SCHOOL...

actually now that i look back, feeling rather sad now cos its like one of the last few times we gonna see our sec sch teachers and frens

after that everyone walks their own paths

chase their own dreams

build their own foundation

pursue their own interests....

hopefully the years of friendships i have with my frens will last even after we graduate and start working

PLEASE COME SAME JC AS ME! =P

yeap after this is the O levels

and after the O levels everyone have their own activities

really hope to be able to get together with the class during class chalet again

until then...

well im having mixed feelings again

STUDY BREAK finally!

not being cocky but i have w8ted quite a long time for this

idk

i tink studying on my own is better?

nt sure

AT LEAST MOCK EXAMS ARE OVER FOR NOW CHEERS!

so anw i tink its right to say that today is the last "official" school day for me le =(

4 years in AHS

and then the study break

and graduation

and then

O levels

and after O levels will be going different places liao...

dunno when i will get to see my frens again

will miss them man...

and thurs was the last day of PE as well

LAST DAY OF PE IN AHS

why PE has been memorable to me

1. I love PE

2. I have been PE rep for the past 4 years le(except mayb this year dunno if got count)

so you see the memories of the playing sports with my classmates was also really memorable

Somehow i wished that i had started this blog earlier...

My sec 1 life is a total PAGE BLANK

the year just came and go

MUST HAVE BEEN TOO MUCH DOTA

and my sec 2 life was greatly improved and i really thought I had changed alot between sec 1 and 2

and after my sec two life

i decided that I needed to record something down

imagine looking back at your life...

and youve found...

you have NOTHING to let you remember your life

so thats how this blog was born!

consistently been blogging almost everyday until recently, where blogging has taken its back seat

tink after O levels i will read through my sec sch life...

PHOBIA 2

= AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

lets just say that my experience watching a movie alone for the 1st time didnt leave the best impression on me

I went thr and bought tickets

at the ticker counter i asked for 1

the lady tinking i was crazy to watch phobia 2 alone

asked for 2 ICs cos she tot i asked for 2

but no i said 1

so i got the ticket went in

and

my seat

damn sui

beside 2 girls

nt bad de, same age as me i tink

budden

GHOST MOVIE IF GUY HUM DIAO IN FRONT OF THEM QUITE PAISEH

so since the cinema was very empty(the 1st 8 rows i tink werwe totally empty)

i took a seat at the left side

WRONG CHOICE MAN

like seriously regret...

i sat on the left side. then on my left was 2 seats from the wall

infront of me thr was no one i.e. i was sitting at the most front of the back rows tt had ppl

and on my left the 2 seats

TOTAL DARKNESS

freak out la... cos I CANT EVEN SEE THE GUY NEXT TO ME(if thr was one)

unless he/she/IT was wearing WHITE

damn scary be4 the show start i oredi scare myself with wild imaginations le

then the 1st story i seriously quite scared

normally ghost stories i nt say very frightened de... like not fearful cos got frens to talk or something

but this time... SERIOUSLY QUITE SCARED LOL

walao eh my heart pump very fast cos i keep tio shock

shall nt spoil but its relly din expect de lor some of the shocking things

then my heart beating quite fast and i was like tinking to myself

1st STORY OREDI WANNA DIE LIAO....NEXT FEW STORIES HOW?

unfortunately for me

because i chose to watch alone

THIS TIME DUN HAVE ANYONE TO LAUGH IT OFF OR SAY "WOAH" TO

look right no one(pavement)

look left 2 BLACK SEATS WITH MR UP-TO-UR-IMAGINATION

but luckily the next few stories werent tt bad

i kinda become immune to zombies le

onli the 2nd hand car story was slightly more scary

but the 5th was the best =D

saved the whole movie

i tink its homedy seirously beats jack neo's hahah

damn funny yet partially scary

i would rate phobia 2

a gd 4 stars ok

haha one of the better horror movies ive seen

comparable to shutter or better

some stories were less appealing

others were downright scary haha

so yeaps

Ok i have decided that titles would be quite useful

haha cos a blog entry is like writing a story

and a story must have a title

a good title would attract readers

a bad one wouldnt even ctach the eye of readers

but then again my skin doesnt have one and im too lazy to edit so yeap sorry =P

yeap ive finally updated

and the O levels are getting closer man

maybe tts why the blogs are getting dead

i havent started much

but tts not the main point

was reading the newspaper just now on

the newspaper these days are filled with controversies

some of these caught my eye...

1. Renault's new driver crashes into the same place where the Crashgate incident happened during the Practice Session.

Dejavu isnt it? I bet the driver was like tinking..."Uhoh, this is the crash place... I must not crash, I must not crash, I must not crash, I MUST NOT CRASH!" *CRASH*

2. Miss Singapore 2009 - Can't speak, can't follow the law.

lol the other day i was overheard the tv programme showing the F1 grid girls. then she was one of the persons invited to ask the qn to the girls in the competition. and immediately after she posed the qn, the host Gurmit said "ok let merephrase this in PROPER ENGLISH" couldnt be better said. I could hardly understand her qn too.

Then comes the credit card fraud which leaves all of us speechless. seriously WOW.

3. Global warming may be on a decline! *cheers*

Apparently scientists have found that the Earth's temperature maybe on a decline despite increasing production of greenhouse gases. This is caused by the reduced number of sunspots seen on the sun. Sunspots supposedly cause less clouds to form which allow more heat to enter the atmposphere. Less spots thus allows more thicker cloud covering to form. Still have to w8 5 to 10 years the see the trend though. but still this is quite COOL(literally)

4. Water on the Moon!

If you have been reading this news you will know that I am not kidding. YES, the moon HAS water. There had been no REAL evidence to comfirm that there was ice on the moon until now. About 12kg of the Moon's soil has found to contain about a dropper full of water. LOL and scientists are going crazy about it and how we can live on the moon by 2025. O.O

so thats it
